We are currently seeking a Senior Python/Core Java Developer - Client Site to join our team in Montreal, Quebec (CA-QC), Canada (CA).
Day to Day / Job Function We’re looking for a versatile Senior Pythion Developer with experience in Python and Core Java capable of building robust, maintainable systems and troubleshooting across the full stack—from code to infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems in Java and Python
- Troubleshoot issues across OS, network, storage, and hardware layers
- Support containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Podman
- Collaborate with global teams using Agile tools like Git, Jira, BitBucket and Jenkins
- Work on-call as needed to ensure system reliability
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of exp of writing robust and maintainable code in Core Java and Python.
- 7+ years experience troubleshooting skill across Code, O/S, network, and storage and hardware
- 7+ years experience using container orchestration system like Kubernetes, container tooling like podman.
- 7+ years experience with Agile development methodology and tools like GIT, Jira, BitBucket and Jenkins
- 7+ years experience in web technologies like Spring, React, HTTP, JavaScript, Angular.
- 7+ years experience in data technologies like DB2, Sybase or Postgres and Mongo
- 5+ years experience in Cloud/Azure/AWS
- Familiarity with Linux, Shell scripts
- Experience working in a large, multi-national enterprise in any industry vertical, showing experience of communicating and collaborating in globally distributed teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science/IT related degree or equivalent work experience
