Job Summary

As part of the Janitorial team at Sasquatch Mountain Resort, you are responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for all staff and guests. This includes general cleaning of buildings, sanitizing restrooms, snow removal at entrances, and addressing any janitorial needs throughout the resort. You are a hands-on, front-line staff member who takes pride in your work, pays attention to detail, and supports resort operations across departments as needed. In this role, you helpcreate an inclusive experience—united by adventure and empowered by community.

Job Specifications

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning of resort buildings including restrooms, floors, windows, and common areas
  • Ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met in high-traffic areas
  • Remove trash and recycling throughout the resort
  • Complete tasks as directed by the Janitorial Supervisor or resort management
  • Assist with snow removal around entrances and walkways during winter
  • Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues immediately
  • Provide guest assistance and resort information when needed
  • Follow all company health, safety, and sanitation procedures
  • Maintain a professional appearance and contribute to a positive guest experience
  • Support other departments as needed, especially during peak periods
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required
  • WHMIS and HACCP certifications are considered assets
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Able to stand or move for extended periods of time
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Must demonstrate good judgment, attention to detail, and adaptability
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Available to work weekends, holidays, and other busy resort periods
  • Committed to teamwork, time management, and maintaining a clean and safe resort
  • Willing to support cross-department functions and snow removal when required
