Job purpose
Ensuring accuracy in the receiving records of all inbound goods.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving all inbound goods into computer system
- Verifying vendor packing slips against purchase orders for accuracy
- Working with the purchasing departments to investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Perform inventory adjustments required
- Analyze and troubleshoot inventory cost problems
- Cycle count processing
- Other administrative duties as required
Competencies
Detail oriented
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A thorough understanding of inventory principals
Strong communication skills
Experience with lumber inventory management would be an asset.
Working Conditions
This is primarily an office based position.
