Position Details

Our Information Technology department is seeking a highly motivated and career minded individual to join our team as a business Systems Analyst – Digital and Integrations.

The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the technical capabilities needed to address business challenges.

What You Will Do

  • Compile technical documentation, Application architecture, data and logical diagrams
  • Assist with troubleshooting application system related issues.
  • Identify solutions to business system problems.
  • Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationships
  • Create and maintain technical requirements, issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.
  • Diligently support and lead where needed, various activities between the teams to ensure the business and technical requirements and objectives are met.
  • Participate and contribute to the overall system(s) design.
  • Assist with the creation of test suites, execute testing and support the QA process.
  • Assist with performance testing strategy based on the web traffic.

Who You Are

  • Experience with web applications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with creating documentation on highly integrated enterprise systems, micro services and integrated testing
  • Experience in .NET, Java and JavaScript
  • Proficient in querying SQL databases
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary
  • Problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodology.
  • Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
  • Development background is an asset.
