About the role
Our multidisciplinary clinic has multiple private rooms and a dedicated gym area. We have a large referral base from family medicine and allied health professionals throughout Calgary and are always working on new partnerships. The clinic develops and runs evidence-based programs such as our Urgent Back Pain Clinic, Concussion Clinic and Clinical Assessment Unit. Our team of Physiotherapists, Physiatrists, Physicians and Nurse Practitioner collaborate in further learning and social events.

Job Type: Part-Time
Required Hours: Four days/month 9am to 4pm
Start Date: January 2026
Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour

The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant or Phlebotomy program
- CSMLS certification or equivalent credential preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of infection control and laboratory safety procedures
- Professional, adaptable, and comfortable in a clinical environment
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and spin PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
- Prepare and clean rooms and trays before and after procedures
- Make follow-up calls between patient appointments
- Verify patient identity and ensure accurate specimen labeling
- Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols
- Provide reassurance and excellent patient care during procedures
- Collaborate closely with a medical doctor
