WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile application. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions that exceed user expectations.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans for mobile application.
- Lead end-to-end testing efforts, including functional, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), regression and PIV.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and identify edge cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile platforms using tools like Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Ready API, Postman, RESTassured or similar, to ensure seamless backend/frontend integration.
- Conduct cross-platform testing for responsive design and compatibility.
- Monitor and analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, testing tools, and industry trends.
- Work closely with development teams, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in quality assurance, including mobile app testing.
- Strong expertise in manual and automated testing techniques.
- Knowledge of programing/Scripting languages Java, Java script or Python
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Appium, Espresso or equivalent
- Proficiency in API testing / service virtualization using tools like Postman, Ready API, RESTassured, WireMock or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of mobile app testing on iOS and Android platforms, using device emulators and physical devices.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms like Perfecto, Sauce labs, BrowserStack etc.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or similar.
- Expert knowledge of industry practices with focus on Agile, DevOps, environments and test integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in leveraging GenAI for quality engineering.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and accessibility testing tools.
