Faculty/Department Faculty of Arts Unit Arts-English Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Student Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary
- Student assistant will examine 5 late-medieval manuscripts in Archer Special Collections and take notes for detailed metadata
- In consultation with the supervisor, the student will undergo language training (Basic Latin + Italian)
- Student will co-design a website that will feature the manuscripts
- Student will conduct research on historical context of manuscripts
- Student will help to curate a research exhibit in Archer library
Position Requirements
- Student must be enrolled in a graduate program in the Faculty of Arts
- Preference will be given to students enrolled in M.A. Program in English
- Preference will be given to students with experience in medieval studies
Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As per CUPE 2419. Status Casual Work Hours
80 hours
