Reporting into the Planning & Schedule Management Lead for the GO Expansion Program the role forms part of the Integrated Program Delivery Team (IPDT).

The role is responsible for delivering, and where possible exceeding the clients expectations across the following areas of responsibility within a large, multidisciplinary program delivery team:
- Managing IPD Best Practices to be incorporated in Management of Contracts
- Engage all key Stakeholders on Contract Transformation under the PDP / IPDT Model
- Managing IPD Practices that are part of Procedures, Processes and Training in the management of Contracts
- Managing the change in model and structure related to Planning and Schedule Management among the PDP Commercial Team and Vendor Community
- Support the review to existing Planning & Schedule processes and procedures, and update based on IPDT Model Best Practices. Ensure updated processes align across GOE Program and achieve Best for Program decision making
- Support the development and implementation Program-wide project requirements that the projects must comply with for Planning & Scheduling to improve consistency and support the Program delivery approach including aligning and enhancing the current Project Procedures
- Support the development and deployment a Program Contingency Management Process
- Manage Planning & Schedule Management IPDT Procedures, systems and toolsets for the Program Management of contracts across the GO Expansion Program.
- Support a Program-wide view of Planning & Schedule considerations, assure consistency of approach
- Support projects and their supply chains to deliver efficiently and effectively. Take a Program approach to removing consistent causes of cost and schedule overrun. Share best practice and lessons learned across the Program
- Manage consistency of delivery approach - Standardizing Program and project procedures ensuring integration and compliance with statutory and client requirements
- Manage and provide for “Best for Program” decision making by creating the capability of consistent and real time reporting linked to the Program Control Centre to establish decision making capability, which is joined up, knowledge led and aligned to Program level outcomes and objectives.
- Support Program level risk management: Identification and mitigation of risks/issues and optimization of opportunities across all aspects of the Program
- Support stakeholder engagement at a Program level as required by the Stakeholder Management Plan

Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years of Planning and Scheduling Management experience in Rail and Transit projects
- IPDT Delivery Model Experience
- Provides consistent management in the area of Planning & Schedule Management to program management stakeholders / colleagues that are dedicated to each of the program delivery units.
- Demonstrated experience in contract administration and contract management of large capital programs.
- Planning & Schedule Management experience on large capital transit projects
- Support in the management of stakeholder, vendor, contractor and project team relationships
- Advising and supporting transforming of delivery team and Supply Chain cultures through new delivery models.
- Experienced planning & scheduling in the development of innovative, methodical and robust solutions and procedures to resolve difficult contract issues, disputes and claims while adhering to polices and contract terms

Education:
- Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in the Commercial and Contract Management disciplines

Licenses OR Certifications:
- Holding recognized certifications including PMP, PMI-SP, or PSP
- Oracle Primavera P6 certificate is considered an asset

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of prevailing Project Management and Scheduling methods
- Extensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
- Provides full capability in the area of Planning and Schedule Management to program management stakeholders that are dedicated to each of the program delivery units
- Takes responsibility for their actions, leads by example and acts in an ethical, legal and responsible way. Is self-aware and makes the most of their talents, skills and resourcefulness
- Persuades and influences others successfully towards a desired course of action

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
