About the role
The Clean Harbors team in Edmonton, AB is looking to hire a Licensed Electrician. The Licensed Electrician will be responsible for all field operations related to Dewatering and Dredging equipment on any project to which they are assigned.
Responsibilities
- Manage the cutting equipment, its operators and slashing crews to the company standard of quality and integrity;
- Quality control of the crew to monitor its performance as far as morale, safety, proper use of procedures and equipment condition;
- Report all incident and accidents to the office in a timely manner;
- Ensure that PPE is available, properly used, stored, maintained, and replaced when necessary;
- Conduct audits and inspections and ensure documentation is filled properly;
- Prepare daily production summaries and ensure they are distributed appropriately;
- Host or assist with morning safety meetings, Participate in or conduct and document safety meetings with the crew daily. Bring safety and proper working procedure topics up as reminders and also ensure all workers are comfortable with the tasks assigned to them by reviewing their day plan;
Qualifications
- Class 5 driver’s license is required as well as a clean driver’s abstract
- 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Licensed Electrician
- Registered Journeyman Mechanic Certification
- First Aid is required
