310T Truck Mechanic Location: North York, ability to travel between sites Shift: Day Shift (Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 3:30pm; Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm) Afternoon Shift (Monday to Thursday 2:30pm to 12:00am; Friday 12:00pm to 9:00pm) Expected Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 Range The salary range shown above reflects the expected compensation for this position. The final salary offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidate’s experience, education, training, and alignment with the role’s requirements. Here’s what we do… Combined Metal Industries (CMI for short!) sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!

Job Summary CMI is looking for a new employee to join our Maintenance Team. In this role you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, cranes, skid steers and forklifts in order to assist in a safe and productive work environment for all employees. Key Responsibilities Maintain company trucks/trailers Perform preventative maintenance and CVI inspections on trucks/trailers Perform scheduled repairs on trucks/trailers Ensure running repairs are performed on trucks/trailers as per pre/post inspections Repair forklifts, skid steers and cranes where possible Complete all required paperwork as per legislative requirements Maintain inventory of parts and order as required Support drivers and machine/equipment operators with technical knowledge Qualifications 310 Truck and Coach Technician Certification Minimum 2- 3 years of previous experience Strong English communications skills (written and verbal) Self-motivated Ability to perform in all types of weather Ability to perform a physical demanding job Already picturing yourself in this role?
