Position Overview
Are you passionate about horticulture and enjoy being physically active' Join our team as aShrub and Tree Sales & Maintenance Associate! Thisseasonal positionruns fromApril to Octoberand offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers and maintaining our shrub and tree inventory.
Key Responsibilities
-**Inventory Management:**Unload product shipments, receive inventory, and enter items into stock systems. -**Customer Assistance:**Help customers with product selection, provide advice on growing requirements, and guide them to product locations. -**Sales Support:**Tag and load products for customers, ensuring a positive experience. -**Plant Care:**Perform maintenance tasks, including watering, weeding, and pruning trees and shrubs. -**Site Maintenance:**Keep the shrub bed area clean and organized.
Qualifications
-Experience:
-
- At least one year of customer service experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of horticulture or landscaping is an asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage but not mandatory. -Skills:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Physical Demands
- Outdoor position, requiring work in various weather conditions.
- Physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.

-**Job Type:**Full-time, Part-time, Temporary. -**Location:**Conveniently situated near CrossIron Mills, just a short drive north of Calgary. -**Transportation:**Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transit available in the area.
