We are seeking a dedicated and detail – orientated Purchasing Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Purchase Order Maintenance.
• Inventory Process.
• Supplier Maintenance.
• Preparing for and participating in the annual review of inventory reports.
• Creating and maintaining procedural manuals.
• Continuous Improvement Projects as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1 + years of experience in a purchasing department, preferably in the construction and/or lumber industry.
• Function independently and as part of a Team.
• Proficiency with MS Office (especially with Excel).
• Demonstrated attention to detail as well as problem-solving aptitude.
• Demonstrated experience in providing excellent internal and external customer service.
• Previous experience with BisTrack will be considered an asset.
