Description
A systematic, detail-oriented, forward-thinking software developer responsible for designing and implementing software solutions along with the associated infrastructure in the realm of eCommerce.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with internal and external customers to establish requirements and objectives for deliverables.
- Ensures internal and external customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Develops high-level designs and associated work plans prior to implementation.
- Develops fully defined minimal interface definitions prior to implementation.
- Delivers solutions that scale effectively in terms of both usage and future expansion.
- Collaborates with and supports digital designers on front-end development.
- Optimally draws from a large and continuously growing pool of problem-solving tools and strategies.
- Maintains and leverages infrastructure as part of the development process.
- Contributes to the development of the development process itself within the team.
Requirements

Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree in computing science or engineering in progress.

Understanding of object-oriented design principles and an ability to apply them in practice.

Ability to think strategically and design under constraints.

Firm understanding of version control in both theory and practice.

Solid grasp of the English language in terms of speaking, reading and writing.

Familiarity with the following computer languages: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Bash, and SQL.

Familiarity with the following systems or applications:
- GNU/Linux and POSIX compliant environments in general
- Build systems
- DevOps processes
- Git
- Web servers (Apache, Nginx, lighttpd)
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- WordPress/WooCommerce
