Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Engineering, the Sales Representative thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong client relationships, and is passionate about delivering high-value solutions tailored to client needs. Qualtech is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Sales Representative to join our team based in Calgary. This role is pivotal in driving business development and expanding our presence across Western Canada.

Sales Component

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Western Canada;
  • Promote Qualtech’s full suite of products and services to prospective and existing clients, with a strong emphasis on establishing and nurturing long-term customer relationships within the region;
  • Become the trusted point of contact for clients;
  • Actively identifying and generating leads for capital expenditure (CapEx) projects;
  • Prioritizing equipment sales, sanitary installations, and distribution opportunitie ;
  • Execute a consultative sales process to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions;
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurate forecasts using CRM tools;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design proposals and respond to technical tenders;
  • Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and post-sale support;
  • Represent Qualtech at trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities;
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry innovations;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of working methods.

General Component

  • Contribute through decisions and attitude to maintaining a good work climate;
  • Apply the general safety rules of Qualtech;
  • Participate in training new employees;
  • Ensure a clean and safe workplace;

Academic Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the agri-food or industrial sector;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English; French is an asset;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce);
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 70%) across Western Canada;
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
