Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining production reports and dashboards to support planning, scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Engaging with production teams to support construction schedule alignment.
- Participating in and leading special projects focused on process optimization and data-driven problem solving.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program.
- 0-2 years’ experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong skills in Excel and Power Query.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate or simulation modeling is an asset.
- Skilled in organizing and managing a variety of tasks with varying priorities and is a fast learner and effective problem solver.
- Strong academic performance.
- Interest in the shipbuilding, defense, or marine industry and a desire to join an exciting, fast-paced organization.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
