Project Description:
We are creating an asynchronous online learning module focused on Cultural Intelligence (CQ), the ability to work and communicate effectively across diverse cultures. This initiative brings together an international team of students, faculty, staff, and administrators from The Netherlands, Canada, and Ecuador to design engaging, interactive learning experiences for university audiences.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of high-quality learning materials that foster intercultural competence. This is a collaborative, creative role with opportunities to shape content that will be used globally. Our candidate will have experience creating content, designing interactive activities, storyboarding and scripting.
Job Summary:
Provide support in electronic media technologies to create and update e-textbook content and develop media elements
Accountabilities:

Provide support with managing the department or programs e-textbooks.

Update e-textbook content and complete general e-textbook maintenance.

Assist in the development of departmental or program e-textbook media.

Utilize graphic design techniques to create various media content.

Use specialized software to create and edit graphic images, photography, and videos
Assets/Previous Experience:
-
- Interest in intercultural communication and collaboration
- Skills in media arts, communication, or digital storytelling
- Ability to design visuals and videos
- Organized, independent, and reliable
- Experience with H5P is an asset
- Familiarity with online learning platforms (Avenue, Moodle, Canvas) and e-learning tools
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite
Qualifications
Education: Completed or currently enrolled in a relevant College diploma program.
Experience: Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite
