The Position - A Professional Opportunity to Join a Dynamic Team
We are looking for a high energy individual excited about becoming a key member of our Engineering and Sustainability team that is focused on providing quality local government services in an efficient, effective and sustainable manner. Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Sustainability, you will be responsible for planning and preparing engineering designs, estimates and specifications for routine municipal infrastructure projects, reviewing all general capital projects and engineering plans submitted by contractors, subdividers and developers to ensure they meet established municipal standards.
The successful candidate will be a Professional Engineer with municipal experience and able to act as the Responsible Registrant (RR) for the City’s Permit to Practice and fulfill all duties required by the RR under Engineer and Geoscientist guidelines.
