A well-established manufacturer of industrial metal packaging products supplying the paint, coatings, and chemical industries across North America is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join its growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment who is looking for a stable, long-term career in metal manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production machinery, including forming, seaming, and press/stamping equipment. Monitor machine performance and assist with basic troubleshooting. Perform quality inspections throughout the production process. Make basic machine adjustments and perform calibration checks. Complete production and machine performance reports. Identify and report non-conforming products. Work closely with the Production Manager and Shift Lead to ensure production goals are achieved. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment (5+ years is considered an asset). Experience with metal can, pail, container manufacturing, or similar metal forming equipment is highly preferred. Comfortable using hand tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Willing to work different shifts when required. Good English communication skills.
