**School:**Lindsay Adult and Alternate Education Centre

**Position:**Continuing Education Teacher - Personal Support Worker Program, Co-op Supervisor

  • The successful candidate will oversee 10 students at a Long-Term Care home in City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario for the 2-week supervised clinical placement.
  • The role of the teacher will be to supervise, mentor and instruct students during their placements.

**Duration:**The contract will begin on Friday April 24, 2026 and will finish on Thursday May 14, 2026.

  • In-Class Orientation on Friday April 24 (9:00 am to 3:00 pm = 6 hours)
  • Placement from Monday April 27, 2026 to Thursday May 14, 2026 (times to be confirmed but will be 8 hours daily)

Remuneration:$52.25 per hour - total contract is for 110 hours

**Qualifications:**Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse. Preference will be given to applicants who are also Certified Teachers registered with the Ontario College of Teachers and those with experience in working in a long-term care setting.
