Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking a Lead, Health, Safety & Prevention UHNBC Tower with leadership experience to join Northern Health.

In accordance with the established vision, mission, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health Authority, the Lead – Health, Safety & Prevention (HSP) - UHNBC Tower provides leadership and expertise to strengthen Northern Health’s culture of safety as an integral part of capital planning projects.

The position represents Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) in NH Capital Planning and UHNBC Tower projects to provide recommendations, guidance, and resources in the strategic planning, development, implementation, sustainability, evaluation, and continuous improvement using an integrated, system-based approach. The Lead acts as a resource and provides consultation, research, and educational support to facilitate organizational compliance with legislated OH&S requirements to protect and improve the quality of work life and healthcare in Northern Health. A significant priority of the position is to work with key stakeholders and partners to build and sustain a systematic framework that links all aspects of patient, staff, and public safety into a comprehensive cultural vision aligned with the strategic directions of Northern Health Authority.

Starting salary will be approximately from $90,770 to $113,462 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
