Position Summary

The Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to fill our independent living community by increasing occupancy. This role focuses on generating leads, converting inquiries into move-ins, and building strong relationships with prospective residents and their families. Success in this position means achieving and maintaining full occupancy through proactive sales strategies and exceptional customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Occupancy:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve full occupancy.
    • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and track conversion rates.
  • Lead Management:

    • Respond promptly to inquiries and schedule tours for prospective residents and families.
    • Deliver compelling tours and presentations that highlight the benefits of living at Bolivar Creek.
    • Follow up consistently to close sales and secure move-ins.
  • Community Outreach:

    • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and local organizations.
    • Represent Bolivar Creek at community events and networking opportunities to generate leads.
  • Marketing Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the Senior Director of Brand Communications & Marketing to align campaigns with occupancy goals.
    • Provide feedback on marketing initiatives to maximize lead generation and conversion.
  • Resident Experience:

    • Ensure a smooth and positive transition for new residents from inquiry to move-in.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to families during the decision-making process.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in sales, preferably in senior living, hospitality, or real estate.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated and goal-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding occupancy targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the senior living industry and local market is an asset.
