Position Overview: We’re looking for a Dispatcher to join our 24/7 facility services team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As the central point of communication between customers, technicians, and management, you’ll ensure that service calls are scheduled efficiently and handled with urgency and care. Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and dispatch HVAC and plumbing technicians for service calls, maintenance, and project work
  • Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prioritize emergency service requests and coordinate after-hours coverage as needed
  • Review completed work orders and ensure all documentation is accurate and entered into the system
  • Collaborate with operations and service managers to balance workload and maximize efficiency
  • Assist technicians to prepare repair quotations resulting from service calls where necessary
  • Reconcile technician work orders & timesheets, review work orders prepared by technicians for professionalism prior to sending to customers
  • Maintain positive relationships with both customers and field staff

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in dispatching, coordination, or customer service is an asset (HVAC, plumbing, or construction industry preferred)
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with dispatching software, CRM systems, or scheduling tools (e.g. SAMPro & TechAnywhere, ServiceTitan, Jobber, or equivalent)
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing terminology is an asset
