The Contract Manager, Procurement is responsible for supporting across the lifecycle from needs identification, bid documentation, vendor selection and contract management.
What you’ll be doing
- Support clients in the development of procurement requirements
- Provide information and documentation related to service requests to ensure compliance
- Partner with clients to develop solicitation packages / requests for proposal, information and quotations (statements for scope of work, selection criteria, pricing, mandatory requirements)
- Post bid requests to external procurement sites and manage processes such as completion of non-disclosure agreements, insurance requirements and a range of certifications
- Coordinate responses to questions and inquiries from potential vendors which may include a bidder’s conference
- Receive and evaluate bids working in partnership with client for final selection
- Support procurement risk assessments by identifying potential risks and assisting with mitigation activities under guidance from senior team members
What you’ll bring to CCC
- Completion of a post-secondary education in procurement
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing/procurement, contracting and financial management
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices domestically - identification of suppliers, development and review of bid documentation, pricing, contract completion
- Knowledge of stakeholder relationship management
- Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, discipline-specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
- Knowledge of relevant governing legislation, regulations, and guidelines
- Bilingual in both official languages is strongly recommended
