Role Description The EHS Coordinator is a full-time role based in Kingsville, ON, with with local travel to jobsites. This role is responsible for supporting and coordinating environment, health, and safety (EHS) programs across the facility, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting workplace safety inspections, assisting with risk assessments and incident investigations, and maintaining EHS documentation and records. The EHS Coordinator will help develop and deliver safety training, track corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incidents and ensure a safe working environment. This position collaborates closely with operations, supervisors, and team members to promote a proactive safety culture and drive engagement in EHS programs.

Qualifications Strong knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) principles, including Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with the ability to apply regulations and guidelines in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience in Workplace Safety programs, including hazard identification, risk assessment, inspections, and incident reporting and investigation. Demonstrated ability to plan, deliver, and track Safety Training for diverse teams, including toolbox talks, onboarding, and targeted training sessions. Relevant post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field; certifications such as CRSP, CHSC, or equivalent is an asset. Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner with cross-functional teams at all levels. Proficiency with MS Office and EHS-related systems for documentation, reporting, and data analysis. Demonstrated ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in construction or agriculture/greenhouse operations is preferred.
