About the Role
We are seeking a Planning and Implementation Consultant to help bridge the gap between long-term organizational vision and the day-to-day execution needed to achieve it. This role requires a balance of strategic foresight, analytical rigor, operational know-how and change management strategies. The consultant will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to design “S.M.A.R.T.” actionable operational plans, define how to measure performance of desired outcomes, and then implement their Envisio software to help them execute on the plan.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Planning
- Facilitate org-wide workshops to develop and prioritize SMART actions that are aligned with their Strategic Plan and designed for the Envisio system.
- Conduct market research, environmental scans, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and industry trends.
- Translate actions into a format ready for upload into Envisio.
- As needed, gain buy-in from executive leadership, and build capacity where organizations have the potential.
Performance Measure Design
- Facilitate org-wide workshops to define - or refine - measures that are aligned to a Strategic Plan or departmental KPIss, to tell a meaningful story.
- Uncover existing quantitative data already being gathered at the organization and employ it in a new way, or establish data that should begin to be collected.
- Conduct market research, environmental scans, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and industry trends.
- Author briefing documents that cover results from the internal scan, a summary of engagement results from key audiences, and a summary of findings from the external review and best practice recommendations.
Implementation
- Conduct org-wide software implementations with a change management approach, maximizing time to value, while aligning to customers goals.
- Project manage the implementation by getting buy-in to a timeline, and then ensuring those milestones are hit.
- Conduct Training - tailored, remote, hands-on training for all user types for both new and existing customers.
- Configure Envisio product to build out a customer's instance.
- Write user guides from existing templates, where necessary.
- Support - provide ongoing frontline application support to customers, including answering, responding to Zendesk tickets and escalating to Product & Development teams where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the rest of the CS team to identify software enhancements and bug requests for the Product & Development team.
Pre-Sale Support
- Attend sales demonstrations to outline the implementation and/or consulting approach and address onboarding and customer success questions.
- Work collaboratively with the Sales team to scope custom SOWs.
- Lead SWOT and other structured assessments to inform decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators
- Utilization and Proficiency on target
- Average Time to Value on target
- High Early Adoption rate post implementation
About you
