We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Manager to lead the delivery of IAM solutions across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access to systems, applications, and data across the organization. The IAM Manager will oversee identity governance, access provisioning, authentication technologies, and privileged access controls while partnering closely with Human Resources, Global IAM, Digital Security and a host of other ITS teams to implement and automate IAM best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of risk management and regulatory requirements in complex, fast-paced environments.

What you will do:

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing operations of KPMG’s IAM framework including identity lifecycle processes, access governance, and compliance initiatives
  • Ensure IAM policies align with security policies, Global policies, and industry standards and regulations
  • Oversee management of various IAM tools such as Active Directory, EntraID, M365 applications, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, and Purview Compliance Centre
  • Collaborate with application owners and business leaders to define and enforce role-based access controls (RBAC) across KPMG’s access ecosystem
  • Oversee governance and remediation of privileged and high-risk access via incident response efforts related to PAM
  • Drive IAM process automation and continuous improvement by working with the Senior Manager to identify gaps and enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Partner with Security, Compliance, and Audit teams to address audit findings and ensure prompt implementation of remediation measures
  • Manage and mentor a team responsible for user provisioning, deprovisioning, role management and access reviews
  • Work collaboratively with local and Global IT teams to apply IAM best practices across on-premise and cloud environments

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Or 7+ years of Management experience running and managing large IAM technologies across hybrid environments, including complex migration projects
  • 3+ years of experience in people leadership or management capacity
  • Hands-on experience with leading enterprise IAM/IGA platforms like SailPoint ISC, Active Directory, Microsoft EntraID, Purview Compliance Centre, CyberArk
  • Strong understanding of access control frameworks, least privilege and zero trust principles
  • Working knowledge of Privileged Identity Management, directory services, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on
  • Experience supporting regulatory audits and remediation in a financial services or similar environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in fostering strong working relationships across global teams and cross-functional groups

This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders nationally in our English speaking provinces while at KPMG.

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $87,500 to $130,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
