About the role
- Responsibilities and tasks :
- Ensures appropriate start-up of the plant’s systems and equipment.
- Organize a preventive maintenance program for the plant’s equipment.
- Support the manufacturing and packaging team during equipment start-up.
- Repair and maintain the various production, packaging, laboratory equipment, as well as support systems and building-related equipment.
- Identify electrical, mechanical and control problems on the equipment.
- Execute various preventive maintenance tasks.
- Establish mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic diagnostics upon failure of manufacturing and building equipment; make the necessary repairs et identifies the impact of the breakage on operational GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Execute various preventive maintenance tasks according to a set schedule, and complete test and maintenance reports.
- Improve equipment, machines and/or other systems.
- Verify that instruments and systems are operating correctly.
- Inform and advise the operators who use the equipment.
- Support Engineering Project Leaders in the purchase and installation of new equipment.
- Assist the Validation Group during qualification of various systems and installations.
- Participate in executing certain OQs.
- Analyze the cause of variances.
- Together with the Maintenance Planner, participate in developing a preventive maintenance system in this sector.
- Assist stationary engineers during the installation and/or modification of heating or ventilation systems and/or any other system.
- Work from plans and drawings.
- Execute minor electrical work.
- Look for permanent solutions using products and suppliers available on the market, at the lowest possible cost, while maintaining the highest quality.
- Execute minor verifications of low voltage electrical panels.
- Create drawings and schematics when they are not available.
- Carry out any other related tasks

- Self-starter

- Works well under pressure and has sense of priorities
- Holds a "C" licence in electricity
- Perseverance in work planning and problem solving
- Strong interpersonal skills

Environment conditions : Mechanical rooms of the factory, machine shop "machine shop" and outside on the roof of the building and electrical room.
