Intern, Operational Technology (Customer Solutions)
This is a full-time summer internship lasting from May 11, 2026, until August 28, 2026.
Job Summary
The Intern, Operational Technology (OT) Modernization Programs will join either the Pring or SCIO Modernization Program to assist in CN's digital transformation, focusing on system modernization, cloud migration, and data orchestration. This internship offers hands-on experience with agile delivery, enterprise architecture, and cloud infrastructure and the intern will gain exposure to backlog management, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with product owners, testers, and developers.
Major Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and PI planning
- Complete user stories from the backlog, following the Definition of Done and coding standards
- Support cloud connection risk mitigation
- Develop and test features (e.g., Crew Trip Optimizer)
- Enhance customer journey APIs
- Seek and incorporate feedback through code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions
