About the role

As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive growth, profitability, and long-term partnerships with Owens Corning's most strategic customers. This role leads account planning, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver business objectives while strengthening customer relationships and expanding market opportunities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to key customers while partnering closely with Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other business functions to deliver customer-focused solutions and drive profitable growth. Success in this role requires strong commercial leadership, financial acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence and lead across a matrixed organization.

POSITION LOCATION: Toronto, ON (60–70% travel required)

What You Will Be Doing

Develop and execute strategic customer plans that drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer success. Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers. Lead commercial negotiations and customer business reviews to strengthen partnerships and achieve business objectives. Identify opportunities to expand share of wallet, increase customer value, and grow strategic accounts. Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring customer needs and market insights are represented within the organization. Partner with Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other teams to develop and execute customer growth initiatives. Utilize CRM tools, sales analytics, and customer insights to identify opportunities, guide decision-making, and improve business performance. Forecast sales performance, monitor account trends, and manage profitability across assigned customers. Develop customer-specific strategies that balance growth, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of customer commitments and strategic initiatives. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer developments to identify risks and opportunities. Drive accountability and execution excellence across customer-facing activities and business priorities. Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance customer experience, business processes, and commercial effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Significant experience in sales, account management, business development, or commercial leadership roles. Demonstrated success managing large and complex customer relationships. Experience developing and executing growth strategies that drive revenue and profitability. Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills. Strong business and financial acumen, including experience managing commercial performance. Experience utilizing CRM platforms, sales analytics, and business insights to support decision-making. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment among multiple stakeholders. Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills. Ability to travel 60–70%.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading or coaching customer-facing sales teams. Experience working within building materials, manufacturing, industrial products, construction, or related industries. Experience managing strategic, national, or enterprise-level customer relationships. Experience working within a matrixed organization and leading through influence. Demonstrated success driving customer growth, retention, and long-term strategic partnerships. Experience developing customer-centric growth strategies and commercial agreements.
