In this role, you’ll collaborate with municipalities and industry leaders to design smart, resilient, and sustainable water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. You'll apply your technical expertise, guide strategic project decisions, mentor junior team members, and influence the direction of critical planning initiatives across Ontario and beyond.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

Lead and support infrastructure planning and asset management projects, including master plans, intensification studies, Class Environmental Assessments (Class EAs), and hydraulic modeling studies.

Manage technical components of water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater servicing projects from concept through delivery.

Provide project management leadership on studies, coordinating multidisciplinary inputs and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Mentor and guide junior staff, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.

Serve as a key point of contact with clients, assisting with proposal development, presentations, and ongoing communication.

Prepare and review high-quality project deliverables including reports, memos, modeling outputs, mapping, and design briefs.

Contribute to innovative servicing strategies aligned with evolving community and environmental needs.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Degree in civil/environmental engineering, planning, or a related field; P.Eng. or eligible is preferred.

5 -10+ years of progressive experience in municipal water infrastructure planning and hydraulic modeling.
-
Proven experience in project management and leading infrastructure planning studies.
-
Strong background in water system planning & modeling (InfoWater, WaterCAD, or equivalent).
-
Proficiency with GIS tools and other relevant modeling software.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing detailed reports and presenting to clients.

Familiarity with Canadian municipal infrastructure standards and planning frameworks.

Self-driven and capable of working remotely if senior-level, with flexibility across office locations.
