Dougall Media, Thunder Bay’s only locally owned broadcast/multimedia company, has an exciting part-time opportunity in our Television Operations department, as a Television Production Assistant.

The Television Production Assistant is required for Live, and Live to Server productions, studio camera and audio operations.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operating equipment: handling various types of broadcast equipment including cameras, audio mixers and video switchers;
- Setting up and adjusting equipment before broadcasts or recordings to ensure optimal performance;
- Monitoring broadcasts;
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical glitches;
- Collaboration with team members.
Required credentials and skills include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to work within a team or individually;
- Creative problem solving;
- Ability to work toward a deadline;
- Knowledge of computer software;
- Television Broadcasting Certificate or equivalent (nice to have);
- Valid Ontario driver's license is an asset.
