Staffing Coordinator - RBC Amphitheater
About the role
Position Overview: This is a part-time seasonal position at the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario. Employment will last until mid to late October and the hours will vary each week. Shifts are usually in the evenings throughout the week, with a few full-day events scheduled. Must be able to work all event days/evenings when needed. This position requires the ability to work past midnight for most events.
Listed are some of the key responsibilities and duties required of a Staffing/HR Supervisor:
- Confirm employees checking in at the main gates are scheduled for each event.
- Ensure all staff checking in at the Legends employee check-in are in uniform when clocking in.
- Ensuring employees are in proper uniform during event, providing new uniforms, ensuring employee compliance with all company and venue policies and procedures, and processing paperwork when necessary.
- Will be responsible for executing all planned employee incentive programs throughout the summer.
- Verifying time sheets and time clocks are accurate.
- Resolving and reporting any minor employee relation issues.
- Assist the HR Manager with any necessary tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous supervising experience required within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge and experience working with a POS system.
- Customer service and communication.
- Fast-paced problem-solving.
- Must be personable, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Able to adapt to change quickly.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Must have a valid Smart Serve.
- Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
pay rate: $23 per hour
