Personal Support Worker (Pediatric Client) – Etobicoke

Schedule:
3 days per week (Monday–Friday, flexible on days)
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
A wonderful family is seeking afriendly, patient PSW who enjoys engaging with childrenand can support after-school routines while assisting the primary caregiver.
Responsibilities

Meet the child at the bus stop outside the apartment building after school
-
Support after-school routines and provide supervision and engagement

Assist with personal care includingbathing and toileting
-
Support activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, hygiene, and grooming
-
Assist with mobility and transfers if required
-
Prepare simple meals or snacks as requested by the family

Assist with light household tasks related to the child’s care
-
Ensure thesafety and well-being of the client at all times
Requirements
-Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificatefrom a recognized program
- Experience supportingpediatric clients or childrenis considered an asset
- Compassionate, patient, and comfortable engaging with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently within a family home environment
- CurrentCPR/First Aid certification -Up-to-date immunizationsand clearVulnerable Sector Check
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
