OTHER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Possession of a valid provincial Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent.

• Willing and able to wear a variety of personal protective equipment.

• Willing and able to attend training.

• Willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions.

• Must be able to lift up to 25kg without assistance in accordance with safe lifting practices.

• Must meet medical requirements of Health Canada guidelines which will include a colour-vision evaluation (colour-differentiation testing) in accordance with Treasury Board.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

• The minimum standard is a secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Notes).

Notes:

1. The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:

• A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
• An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Candidates who already meet both of the following criteria must be accepted as meeting the secondary school diploma requirement:
a. Candidates who have achieved a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; and
b.
