Group Division:
For more than 45 years, Arrow Off Road Guelph division has been a supplier of choice for OEM customers in the Material Handling, Rail, Construction, Forestry, Agriculture, Mining, and Defense industries. With operations in both Canada and China, our focus is on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and the environment. Our mission of good parts on time, along with strong customer relationships and company performance, will continue our history of growth.
Compensation Range:$26.98 to $40.37 hourly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee Cycle Counter responsibilities within the approved Plant procedures.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor an effective Cycle Count Schedule.
- Assign and support daily cycle counts as per the schedule, ensuring completion and accuracy.
- Provide guidance, training, and direction to cycle counting team members.
- Monitor variance root cause corrective action implementation progress and engage appropriate Plant personnel as required.
- Review and validate Inventory Adjustment Approval Reports before submission for Approval.
- Ensure Inventory records are updated accurately upon receipt of Approval.
- Maintain detailed Cycle Count records, and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Assist Materials Manager with planning and execution of Physical Inventories as required.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices for inventory control.
- Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment as needed.
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking.
- Operate winches and other loading devices to load and unload materials onto and off trucks.
- Ensure completion of tow motor inspections and safe equipment operation by team members.
- Keep all manufacturing and shipping/receiving areas organized and ensure team adherence to housekeeping standards.
- May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventor,y and weighing and checking materials.
Educational Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent
Required Skills & Expertise:
- You have at least 3–5 years of previous work-related experience in the same or related industry.
- Previous experience in a lead hand or supervisory role is an asset.
- Must have forklift experience in sit-down propane counterbalance and stand-up reach.
- Valid driver’s permit and forklift external licence.
- Experience in the Manufacturing Industry is an asset.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs manually.
