Summer Camp Facilitator – Oxford Learning Waterdown
Oxford Learning Waterdown is looking for an enthusiastic and responsibleSummer Camp Facilitatorto support our8-week Summer Camp program.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
July 6 – August 28
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage small groups of campers (ages 4–12)
- Guide students throughpre-planned academic activitiesincluding reading, writing, math, and STEM projects
- Help facilitatetheme-based camp activities, crafts, games, and outdoor play
- Support special guest visits and group activities
- Ensure a safe, positive, and organized environment for all campers
- Assist with snack time and transitions between activities
Ideal Candidate:
- Enjoys working with children
- Energetic, patient, and responsible
- Comfortable managing small groups of students
- Experience working with children in camps, schools, tutoring, or childcare is an asset
- Students inEducation, Teaching, Child & Youth Studies, or related programsare encouraged to apply
All camp activities and materials areplanned and prepared by the centre, so the facilitator’s role is tolead, supervise, and keep campers engaged throughout the day.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16 - $18 / hour
