Alpha Anywhere represents the next generation of Alpha's proven educational approach. We combine AI-driven academic content with two 1:1 coaching sessions each week to offer what traditional classrooms cannot: individualized mastery, accelerated growth, and sustained engagement. This isn't tutoring. This isn't teaching. This is performance coaching designed for students ready to learn twice as fast—and who need a guide to unlock that potential.
You'll partner with students in grades 3 through 8 from around the world to generate tangible academic results through mindset transformation, not direct instruction. Your mission is to set high standards, cultivate confidence, and turn education into a winning experience. Each session you facilitate has weight. Each insight you unlock creates change. What You Will Be Doing
Facilitating two 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per week with each student, centered on goal-setting, motivation, and mindset development Hosting open office hours where students can join for on-demand guidance, motivation, or problem-solving Leveraging AI-powered tools and analytics dashboards to monitor student performance, surface obstacles, and refine your coaching tactics Recording observations, concerns, and strategic adjustments to keep each student progressing rapidly Working alongside your coaching team to exchange best practices, escalate challenges, and continuously refine the model

Delivering lessons, evaluating assessments, or assigning coursework—the technology manages academic content Presenting lectures or adhering to a fixed lesson plan Managing unmotivated students passively—we coach with intention, not supervision Attending redundant meetings or navigating administrative red tape Operating in cruise control—this team is designed for those who want to perform meaningfully and at a high standard
Student Success Coach Key Responsibilities
Generate measurable improvements in academic achievement and student engagement through high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching delivered in a fully remote, technology-enabled environment.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any field A minimum of 1 year of experience mentoring, coaching, or inspiring students in grades K–8 Demonstrated excellence in any domain—whether academic, athletic, entrepreneurial, or artistic Strong ability to establish rapport and engage students effectively in virtual settings via Zoom/Google Meet Proficient with dashboards and digital tools for monitoring and optimizing performance Available to work a minimum of 70% of hours between 7am and 10pm EST, Monday through Friday, to support U.S.-based schedules
Nice-to-have Requirements
Experience in performance coaching, sports psychology, or related motivational disciplines Familiarity with homeschool communities or non-traditional educational settings

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. 2) We mostly recruit independent contractors, not employees, because labor laws vary so much from one country to another that it's near-impossible to recruit globally otherwise (which is why it's still uncommon even though most jobs can now be done remotely).
3) As is standard for any self-employed person, the stated pay is the entire compensation package. Because they are not employees, each contractor is responsible for handling the things that an employer would take care of e.g. taxes, equipment, vacation time, health insurance. One of the major reasons that Crossover jobs pay so much more than local jobs is to overcompensate for these costs.
