Business Analyst, Assessment Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for a full-time Business Analyst to join our Assessment team. Reporting to the Manager of Solution Analysis, the Business Analyst supports the delivery of Esri Canada’s Assessment Analyst: Geographic‑Assisted Mass Appraisal (AA GAMA) solution within the Professional Services Assessment practice. This role contributes to business analysis activities across client engagements, including requirements gathering, business process documentation, and solution alignment. Working under the guidance of senior team members, the Business Analyst, Assessment collaborates with project teams to support the implementation of consistent, high‑quality solutions. This role will be based remotely in Canada. A Day in the Life of a Business Analyst at Esri Canada: Support business analysis activities for AA GAMA implementation projects, including requirements elicitation, business process mapping, and documentation. Assist in analyzing client assessment and valuation workflows to understand alignment with AA GAMA capabilities and established practices. Document business user stories, requirements, process flows, acceptance criteria, and test scripts to support solution configuration and delivery. Participate in client workshops, interviews, and working sessions, contributing to information gathering and documentation. Collaborate with Project Managers, senior Business Analysts, Consultants, and technical teams to support project execution. Identify and document gaps between client needs and system capabilities for review by senior team members. Contribute to the development and maintenance of analysis templates, standards, and reusable project assets. Support testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to confirm alignment between requirements and delivered solutions. What you bring to the team: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, GIS, or assessment-related environments. Experience supporting business analysis activities within client-facing implementation projects, including requirements elicitation, process documentation, and solution alignment. Professional certification in business analysis, project management, or Agile methodologies (such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Scrum-related certifications) is considered an asset. Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Analysis, GIS, Public Administration, Computer Science, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Fluency in English is essential, as this role requires regular client communication and support in English-speaking regions Bonus points for this position: Bilingual proficiency (English / French) is considered an asset. This role offers a base salary range of $73,700 to $90,200 annually, determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
