This Position reports to:

Service Manager

Your Responsibilities: As part of their internship within the after-sales service department, the individual will report to the Service Manager and participate in technical support activities, maintenance, and improvement of spectroscopy equipment. Their tasks will include:

  • Assisting after-sales engineers in diagnosing and repairing spectroscopy analyzers.
  • Participating in functional tests and instrument calibration after interventions.
  • Supporting product and service sales by promoting business development.
  • Assisting customers by phone and email as part of technical support activities.
  • Suggesting improvements to diagnostic methods and intervention tracking.
  • Helping manage spare parts and consumables inventory.
  • Ensuring follow-up on equipment returns for repair.

Job Qualifications:

  • Student in physical engineering, instrumentation, industrial maintenance, optics, or any other field related to analysis and spectroscopy.
  • Knowledge of spectroscopy and analytical instrumentation.
  • Basic understanding of electronics, mechanics, and scientific instrument maintenance.
  • Good command of computer tools, familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Rigorous and analytical mindset.
  • French is required. English is also necessary for regular communication with clients outside Quebec.
  • Strong communication skills, customer satisfaction focus, autonomy, attention to order and quality.
