To provide one-on-one support in individual and Elementary classroom settings

Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until October 14, 2025, with the possibility of extension
Qualifications and/or Assets:
- Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant with assistive communication would be considered an asset
- Experience with Students who have speech and language delays would be considered an asset
- Experience with TouchChat is considered an asset
- Experience supporting students and children with behavioral needs would be considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
- Background and/or Experience working with children with diverse needs
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to be flexible in assigned duties
- Ability to work with numerous service providers Calm and patient approach to solving problems
- Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset Willingness to work collaboratively in an active, team-orientated learning environment
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
