About the role

Job Description:

In this onsite role you will be responsible for providing sales and technical support to customers and the field sales team to ensure successful customer integration and implementation of E.H. Wachs products. Through your high-quality work you will play a key role in supporting customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail, interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with others, and integrity will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

This position is based in Newmarket, Ontario at our Eastern Canada Solution Center.

What You’ll Do and Impact

Sales and Customer Support

  • Handle incoming sales calls and provide technical support for products and applications.
  • Generate activities and quotations as needed into CRM system.
  • Support field sales staff and distributors in moving opportunities through the sales process.
  • Foster new business and build customer relationships.

Order and Inventory Management

  • Process sales orders to invoice and distribute.
  • Support Rental Centers with order processing and rental billing.
  • Responsible for generating purchase orders to buy items for resale from Wachs USA, Orbitalum, and outside vendors.
  • Responsible for managing inventory of Wachs Industrial and Orbitalum parts and tooling.
  • Process all RMAs (repairs & returns) and forward to shipping.

Compliance and Operations Support

  • Prepares documents for import and export shipments as required.
  • Fulfill all requests for literature and technical information required to identify application and specify
  • Required to adhere and comply with provincial and federal law, the ISO Quality program and procedures, and the safety program.
  • Assist with shipping & receiving as required.
  • May assist with rental operations, including equipment readiness, as required.
  • Assists with accounts receivable as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School or Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) equivalent is required. Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • 1 – 3 years of sales support, inside sales, customer service, or other related industry experience desired.
  • Must possess sales ability and technical/mechanical aptitude.
  • Computer proficiency required. Must have strong aptitude with detailed computer programs, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Experience working with CRM systems a plus.
  • Through company training, this position requires advanced operation and application knowledge of the organization’s products.

Compensation Information:

Salary Range: The Technical Sales Representative compensation package offers a competitive annual salary with an estimated range of $66,000 CAN to $80,000 CAN dependent on the geographic location, the successful candidate’s qualifications, and prior experience. We are committed to maintaining equitable and competitive salaries across different regions through regular reviews and adjustments.
