About the role

Position Summary:

The Office Administrator serves as the first point of contact for employees, participants, and visitors. Key responsibilities for this person include greeting guests in a professional and welcoming way, assisting with the electronic sign-in system, providing building directions, answering and transferring phone calls, receiving

packages, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and additional office and administrative tasks.

  • Customer Service & Reception : Coordinate the day-to-day operations at the front desk and reception area
  • Administrative & Office Suppor t: Provide administrative support as directed by supervisor.
  • Safety & Security : Assist in ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, and participants.

Job Pay & Perks:

  • Pay range: $19.58 - $26.48
  • This is an on-site/office-based role whose essential functions require the individual to work at a physical location which may include a GESMN or partner facility.

About You:

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Strong technology skills with ability to learn and use various software and systems for day to day operations.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Work, Excel.
  • Adaptive, flexible, and open to change when needed.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize demands, and solve problems creatively.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and/or sensitive information in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Understand and follow all organizational safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to remain calm and assertive in escalated situations.
  • Solid organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work Mondays - Fridays from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Prior Experience & Education:

  • 2-4 years relevant reception and/or customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
