Microsoft Americas is the largest of 3 regions of Microsoft Commercial Business audit covers the US, Canada and LATAM and generates over 50% of World Wide (WW) revenue. The Microsoft Canada covers Canada Enterprise region with different customer profiles such as Professional Services, Oil and Gas companies, Media and Entertainment, Telecommunications and more.

The Senior Finance Manager - Business Analyst Manager is responsible to consolidate numbers and generate insights performance the performance of the business. Also coordinate and orchestrated key process like closing, forecasting, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis & Planning: Conducts and reviews financial performance analysis, forecasts, and economic transactions; prepares actionable recommendations to support strategic decisions.
  • Business Partnering & Forecasting: Translates top-down targets into accountable budgets, collaborates with stakeholders on modeling and insights, and manages forecasting cycles.
  • Performance Management & Insights: Tracks results, ensures reporting accuracy, manages business rhythms (monthly close, reviews, budgeting), and delivers insights to drive execution and growth.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement: Builds upper-level relationships, negotiates complex financial solutions, gathers feedback for improved experiences, and balances customer-centricity with cost-effectiveness.
  • Risk, Compliance & Innovation: Champions compliance and ethical standards, mitigates macroeconomic risks, drives automation and data-driven improvements, and provides forward-looking narratives for leadership alignment.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a matrix-based organization

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $96,000 - CAD $177,600 per year.
