Air Canada is seeking a strategic and highly analytical Product Manager to lead our Digital Testing & Optimization capabilities across Air Canada and Aeroplan digital platforms.
This role will be responsible for defining and scaling Air Canada’s experimentation and optimization strategy across key digital touchpoints including web, mobile, and digital marketing channels. The successful candidate will partner with product, data science, marketing, design, and engineering teams to unlock measurable improvements in customer engagement, conversion, and loyalty outcomes.
This position sits at the intersection of product management, experimentation platforms, customer data, and personalization, and plays a key role in ensuring Air Canada continuously evolves its digital experiences through data-driven insights and experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Air Canada’s digital experimentation and optimization platform, enabling scalable A/B testing, personalization, and customer experience optimization across digital channels.
- Partner with product, marketing, data science, and analytics teams to identify high-impact experimentation opportunities that improve conversion, engagement, and customer satisfaction across the digital journey.
- Lead the evolution of Air Canada’s testing and experimentation capabilities, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, and personalization initiatives across web and mobile experiences.
- Translate business objectives and customer insights into structured experimentation programs, ensuring measurable impact on key performance indicators such as booking conversion, loyalty engagement, and digital revenue.
- Work closely with engineering and platform teams to ensure experimentation tools and infrastructure are scalable, reliable, and integrated with Air Canada’s broader Martech and customer data ecosystem.
- Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize predictive models and customer segmentation frameworks within experimentation and personalization workflows.
- Define product increments, release plans, and experimentation frameworks that support continuous optimization and rapid iteration across digital channels.
- Champion a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision making across the organization.
- Communicate experimentation insights and optimization outcomes to senior stakeholders and leadership teams, translating data into clear business recommendations.
- Stay current with emerging trends in digital experimentation, personalization, and optimization technologies to continuously improve Air Canada’s digital capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, digital optimization, experimentation, or digital platform development.
- Experience working with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, or digital personalization tools.
- Strong understanding of digital analytics, experimentation methodologies, and data-driven product development.
- Experience working closely with data science, analytics, and marketing teams to translate insights into customer-facing experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional digital initiatives involving product, design, engineering, and marketing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact.
- Experience operating in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or experimentation platforms is considered an asset.
- Experience in airline, travel, loyalty programs, or large-scale digital platforms is considered an asset.
