Job Title: Aluminum Welder
Location: Burlington, Ontario
Employment Type: Full-Time Morning shift
$25 to $27 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Aluminum Welder to join our growing team in Vaughan, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience welding aluminum components using MIG and/or TIG processes and be comfortable working with precision parts and fabricated assemblies. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on aluminum parts and assemblies .
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols .
Prepare aluminum materials by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and fitting components prior to welding.
Ensure welds meet quality, structural, and aesthetic standards .
Inspect completed welds and perform repairs or rework when necessary .
Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup and calibration.
Follow all safety procedures, welding codes, and company quality standards .
Collaborate with fabrication, engineering, and production teams to meet project timelines.
Keep a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
Proven experience welding aluminum using MIG and/or TIG processes .
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints .
Experience working with thin gauge aluminum and fabricated parts .
Strong understanding of welding techniques, distortion control, and heat management for aluminum.
Ability to use fabrication tools such as grinders, saws, and measuring equipment .
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Welding certification is an asset but not required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in custom fabrication or manufacturing environments .
Ability to perform precision welding for small or complex aluminum components .
Knowledge of quality inspection methods and tolerances .
Compensation & Benefits:
