About The Role We’re looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented leader to join our team as a Senior Billing Project Analyst. In this role, you will support a major enterprise-wide initiative to design, build, and implement a new billing solution across the US, Canada, and Mexico. You’ll manage project timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, support data and system requirements, and contribute to a modernized billing platform that enhances client experience.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications
- Maintain and communicate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Provide updates on project progress, issues, and risks to the manager and key stakeholders
- Track project and incident status and escalate blockers as necessary
- Manage billing project execution from initiation to completion
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements
- Facilitate meetings to identify process gaps, automation opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Gain approval of project deliverables such as requirements and process maps
- Provide insights based on prior billing systems experience
- Support testing and validation efforts related to billing solution changes
- Assist in the development of stakeholder communication and presentation materials
- Act as a functional expert on billing processes and support operations with related challenges
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience
- At least 3 years of experience in billing, project work, financial operations, data analysis, or management consulting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, timelines, and cross-functional communication
- Proficient with Excel/Smartsheet, Outlook, PowerPoint, and JIRA
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools
- Familiarity with project risk assessment and control implementation
- Knowledge of automation tools like Power Automate, RPAs, or Alteryx
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA billing systems
Location : Canada Remote
The hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200 - $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
