About the role
Pacific First Aid Ltd. in Vancouver, BC is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting the daily operation of our warehouse, including administrative, logistics operations, and inventory management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrative and Customer Support
- Prepare Daily Operational Reports to the relevent personnel
- Maintain updated data in internal inventory management system and database
- Provide administrative support to the warehouse
- Update order status with client
- Logistics Operations
- Manage receiving and shipping activities
- Coordinate with Order Picker for order fulfillment
- Prepare shipping documents and quality check prior to shipping
- Schedule pickup with the transportation carriers and follow up the tracking status
- Coordinate with internal departments for the smoothness of daily operation
- Inventory Management
- Conduct regular cycle count and adjust the inventory discrepancies
- Maintain the accuracy of data in inventory management system
- Rationalize the layout and management of the warehouse, plan the storage space and adjust the location
- Monitor the inventory level and replenish the stock with vendors
- Others
- Responsible for the safety and protection of goods and personnel in the warehouse
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- High school diploma
- Fluency in English
- Ability to lift/carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, climb ladders without assistance
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical and detail-minded with decent problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a cooler environment
- Good command of MS office
- Previous warehouse experience as an asset
ADDITIONAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to operate a powered pallet jack and/or forklift
- Previous experience in a produce related field or wholesale field as an asset
- Fluency in second language is an asset
