We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join BrokerLink and work hybrid out of one of our offices in Alberta, Ontario, or Atlantic region on a Permanent FT Basis.

What the Role Entails:

• Collaborating with leadership teams in making strategic and material investment decisions
• Undertaking in depth financial analysis to identify and analyze financial and other risks associated with a potential acquisition to help mitigate potential problems.
• Working with legal and executive teams to help structure the transaction, including the financial terms and integration plan.
• Facilitate regular meetings during the due diligence process to support data gathering with the various collaborative teams assisting with the acquisition
• Develop effective and clear communication in written and verbal formats to senior audiences
• Performs special projects and ad hoc request
• Solution driven to achieve results, while being transparent in identifying challenging situations and inviting different perspectives
• Drive change by challenging the status quo, exhibiting a ‘can do’ attitude and energizing others.

The Successful candidate will have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for various financial analyses
• University degree in a relevant area of study and a CPA, CFA, CBV or MBA designation preferred
• 3 - 5 years experience working in a professional services environment at an accounting or consulting firm or equivalent industry experience
• Insurance industry experience, CIP and RIBO credentials are an asset
