About the job

We are looking for talented Travel Representatives and passionate about travel to join our team. The ideal candidate is creative, will provide accurate information to customers regarding travel options and availability, with the ultimate goal of selling travel to create a superior experience for the customer. Provide accurate information to customers regarding inquiries and requests for changes of cancellations to existing itineraries.We are seeking talented and passionate Reservations Representatives to join our team. The ideal candidate will be creative and provide accurate information to customers regarding travel options and availability, with the ultimate goal of selling travel and creating a superior customer experience. Responsibilities also include providing accurate information to customers regarding inquiries and requests for changes or cancellations to existing itineraries.

Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls and emails from customers currently traveling or interested in purchasing/researching travel by following standard scripts and procedures.

Greet and converse with customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

Effectively turn customer inquiries into sales.

Utilize appropriate selling techniques to meet revenue and close rate goals.

Research travel rates, destinations, options and packages for customers.

Read provided scripts verbatim while maintaining sales and quality standards.

Accurately answer general travel and site related questions.

Provide information, suggestions and options in a manner that is accurate, effectively meets the needs of customers, and entices them to purchase.

Accurately track and report call types and service issues.

Promote and sell products or services.

Solicit sale of new or additional services.

Process calls to achieve or exceed the established daily metric, while maintaining an average talk time consistent with current business needs.

Meet or exceed quality standards.

Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent (required)

College or some college degree (preferred)

Two years of customer sales, upsales, telemarketing and service experience (required)

Two years Corporate or leisure travel industry experience (required)

One-year international booking experience

Schedule

8 hrs shift from 8 AM to 9 PM with 30 minutes break (monthly rotational)

Monday to Sunday 5 days a week shift, not guaranteed weekends off but scheduled in advance

Location

Candidates are advised to be within travel distance from our primary location 2030 Bd Pie-IX #330, Montréal, QC H1V 2C8

Hybrid setup, 10 weeks of product and tools training will be on-site.
