Jardeg is actively recruiting a Superintendent to support our Buildings Division. Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role plays a key part in leading the buildings team, guiding project execution, and supporting division goals while ensuring high‑quality delivery. As a Buildings Superintendent, you will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects from early preconstruction through completion.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

  • Lead Site Planning & Execution: Support preconstruction and oversee site logistics, scheduling, phasing, and constructability to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Manage Field Operations: Direct site staffing, subcontractor coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and field cost control.
  • Oversee Construction Activities: Determine construction methods, sequencing, material quantities, equipment needs and monitor field productivity.
  • Coordinate Teams & Trades: Coordinate work across trades, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Support Project Performance: Assist the Project Manager with production budgets, project meetings, claims resolution, and warranty items.

The Right Tools for the Job

  • Education: Post‑secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience: 5–10 years of construction experience, including 2–4 years in a supervisory role, with proven success delivering projects valued between $1M–$15M.
  • Skills: Ability to plan and sequence work, manage costs and schedules, and use standard construction software and management tools.

Compensation

  • Salary Range $115,000 to $135,000 per annum
  • Salary will commensurate with education and experience
  • 3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year, with credit for prior industry experience
  • Excellent Flexible Health & Dental benefits plan, Life and Disability insurance
